Send revival in my heart

God, sanctify every part

With Your love, with Your love

Give me a passion for Your Name

To sing aloud to You who came

With Your love, with Your love

Consuming Fire

Would You fill this sinful heart?

That I may worship You forever

Consuming Fire

Cleanse me with Your holy power

That I may rise with You in splendor

Consume me now

Overwhelm me with Your grace

Set me free to win the race

With Your love, with Your love

Send us out with Your mercy

To world, Lord we’ll speak

With Your love, with Your love

This is just a rough draft.

I will most likely make changes later.

Fill my sail

Guide my boat

Hold my hand

Don’t let go

Take my feet

Give them wings

Blow my mind

With new things

Take me to new places

Fly me to new heights

Tired of these old spaces

Live like a kite

[ i want to be free ]

Vivacity, vitality

Evanescent, a drop of dew

There once was a king

He had everything

Life, love, a queen

Merely notion and reflection

Broken honor, Shattered crown

Veracity, sincerity

Fragility, a blade of glass

A word, a slam of the door

I was tossed to the street

I’m a beggar boy now with nothing to eat

I linger for crumbs, for anything

Broken spirit, ruined heart

I know they’re worth something

For Valentine's Day, my mother gave me a gift.
(and a really funny card :)

Yes. I got a lovely 20 piece flatware set for Valentine's Day.
I think I'm happy.
Although, I'm not sure if they're just eager
to get me out of the house.
Either way, they look nice and I can't wait
to put them to good use.

(yes, that's actually what they look like ^ )

Leave it to me...

to whine and complain about being sick

And then eat a brownie and ice cream for dessert.

[sometimes] To have everything is loss.

and

[sometimes] To have nothing is gain.

and

[most of the time] It hurts.

Give me words, and I would speak them

Give me notes, and I would sing them

Give me thoughts, and I would dream them

Give me hopes, and I would hope them

Give me love, and I would live.

Take these away, and You were. Are. Will be.

Phil 3:7-11

But whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ.

Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord.

For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith—

that I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, that by any means possible I may attain the resurrection from the dead.

I want so badly to be angry at something or someone

...and then there's God's promises.

They diffuse all rage and sullen hurt.

And I thank God for that.

Jer 29:11-14

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord,

plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.

You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

…I will be found by you, declares the Lord

Isaiah 40:28-31

...

The Everlasting God, the Lord,

The Creator of the ends of the earth

Does not become weary or tired.

His understanding is inscrutable.

He gives strength to the weary,

And to him who lacks might He increases power.

Though youths grow weary and tired,

And vigorous young men stumble badly,

Yet those who wait for the Lord

Will gain new strength;

They will mount up with wings like eagles,

They will run and not get tired,

They will walk and not become weary.
